QUESTIONS
1. Read Mark 1:29-34. What emotions to do you think the disciples and the crowd were experiencing? Positive and negative emotions?
2. How do you think Jesus felt about the crowd and his disciples being more excited about His miracles than His message? What are the temptations that Jesus would have faced?
3. Discuss the significance of Jesus spending time with the Father, Mark 1:35. What do you think this time looked like? Discuss the obstacles we have in spending time with God. What are some steps we can take to overcome those obstacles?
4. When Simon goes looking for Jesus his intent is for Jesus to do more healings. What does Jesus say that His mission is? Discuss what He was preaching and wanted to wanted.
5. How can we respond and align our lives with the message that Jesus was preaching?
