Testimonials

“Guatemala was an incredible experience for me. It showed me how much God is needed everywhere. It taught me that there are special people even in the remote mountains of Guatemala. I have been to many other countries, but none quite like Guatemala. Guatemala allowed me to see the wonder of Jesus in people, in kids, and in missionaries who are answering God's call to bring  His word to everyone. Guatemala gave me a huge perspective on who I am and what I have. I would recommend going there to anyone.”

-Steven Hartsoe

"Going to Guatemala gave me a firsthand view of how God intends to bless all nations through Jesus. It is also how I developed some of my closest friendships with people at Summit. so it was a huge blessing to me on many fronts!"

-Jillian Amiri

"At The Summit, one of our core values is caring for the vulnerable. I will never ever forget the moment I met a 2-year-old baby boy playing barefoot at the Santa Rosalía, Zacapa trash dump. His mama was pregnant, ready with another sweet baby on the way. I just looked at her with compassion in my eyes and gave her a pair of shoes for her barefoot son. To know there are children without basic needs for survival is heartbreaking and if I have the means to help, then Lord sends me. As long as there is breath in my lungs, I’ll go where ever He leads. This is what it means to be the hands and feet of Jesus."
