Why Baptism?
Our salvation is wholly dependent upon Christ, and the only requirements are to confess and believe in Christ and be baptized.
Baptism is a believer’s act of publicly committing oneself to Christ and his people, thereby uniting a believer to the church and separating him or her from the world. Baptism does not save you, but rather it is a symbolic expression of your union with Christ, which began with God’s work, and is worked out through your faith in Jesus Christ.
We believe baptism is a command for all believers as it symbolizes our new life in Christ.
Our next baptism service will take place at 8:30 AM & 10:00 AM service on Easter Sunday, April 09.
